Energy Savings
There are some great ways to save money by saving energy this year. SDGE is offering some great incentives to homeowners and business owners for the coming year. It’s never been a better time to be thinking green as in dollars and the environment. With some investment on your part you can be environmentally conscious, save energy and lower your utility bill all at the same time. I can tell 2010 is going to be a better year already after hearing that.
Residential
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was signed by President Obama in 2009. Part of this bill is a one time tax credit of $1500 to homeowners who invest in energy efficient measures. There are many hi-efficiency furnaces and air conditioners that qualify. There are also many energy efficiency rebates offered by SDGE for homeowners. Call or email to get more information. Commercial
Business owners have many options with SDGE for rebates on energy efficiency measures. Programs include the Small Business Super Saver, Express Efficiency, and the Energy Savings Bid.
